Our Commitment
Ballet Wichita is committed to making our website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to access information about our performances, programs, and community initiatives, regardless of ability or the technology they use.

We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our website and aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We recognize that our website may not yet fully meet all accessibility standards. We are in the process of building a new website and are making accessibility a priority in that build. If you encounter any barriers while using our site, we want to know. As part of our ongoing website development, we are working to:
-
Use clear heading structure and logical page organization
-
Provide text alternatives for non-text content
-
Ensure sufficient color contrast throughout the site
-
Make forms and interactive elements usable with a keyboard
-
Write link text that is descriptive and meaningful out of context
-
Ensure our site is navigable without a mouse
Known Limitations
Some areas of our current website may not yet be fully accessible. These include older embedded content, some PDF documents, and third-party platforms we link to (such as our ticketing system and class registration platform). We do not control the accessibility of third-party services, but we encourage those providers to meet accessibility standards and can connect you with support if needed.
